The Universal Health Coverage Day 2024 was successfully celebrated on December 12 at Geruwa Municipality with the theme, “Health: It’s on the Government.”

The event, organized by Geruwa Municipality with financial and technical support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan, and ADRA Japan, brought together leaders such as the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Ward Chairs, health professionals, FCHVs, and teams from ADRA Nepal and ENRUDEC.

Emphasizing the role of universal health coverage in fostering social and economic development, the program included a rally to reinforce the message that the Geruwa government is dedicated to improving community health outcomes.

ENRUDEC is implementing Health Reform Project, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan, and ADRA Japan, ADRA Nepal to support Bardia district communities in achieving better health outcomes.
